What is CAAM Part 66 License?
The CAAM Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) is issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, authorizing the holder to certify the release of an aircraft to service after maintenance. This certification ensures that maintenance tasks are performed correctly, adhering to current training standards, approved airworthiness data, and appropriate tooling and testing equipment. The AML is structured into categories, including Category A (Aircraft Maintenance Technician), Category B1 (Mechanical), and Category B2 (Avionics), each defining specific maintenance and certification privileges.
